No Need to Wait for Restaurant Week–Enjoy the Great Prix Fixe Lunch at Boulud Sud

Courtesy of dear friends Alan and Linda

Alan and Linda 2who generously invited us to share their 46th anniversary celebration, we ate one of the best meals ever and for a very reasonable price (considering that you are eating haute cuisine); that would be $26/pp for two courses and $34/pp for three. What’s nice about this is that two people can order dessert to be shared by all. Also, the prix fixe menu had many of the items on the regular menu so you really have a chance to sample the full scope of the cuisine.

It’s a gorgeous place, with a huge zinc bar zinc barand an enormous kitchen where you can watch the chefs if you like,

Happy AnniversaryA sumptuous meal in a beautiful spot, served with attentive waiters who did not hover but were there when you wanted them. What could be better than a summer (or winter) lunch here? This is Middle Eastern cooking with flair. Boulud Sud is on the Upper West Side around the corner from Broadway at 20 West 64th Street.
